Sil Program (Monthly)

Vipassana — Pāli for “seeing things as they really are” — is a practice of deep self-observation that leads to clarity and inner transformation.  Rather than trying to control our mind or escape from experience, Vipassana invites us to gently observe the arising and passing of thoughts, sensations and mental states without reacting to them.  Over time, this mindful observation reveals insights into impermanence, suffering, and non-self, which helps purify the mind and free us from habitual suffering.
